We're seeking someone who prides themselves in their customer service skills and ability to partner with hiring managers to understand the needs of the program and scope of the role. This book of business supports a variety of positions, some of which require strong sourcing and networking. You can work 100% from home or in one of our many offices nationwide. Ability to travel as needed, approximately 1-4 times a year is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with hiring managers to understand and then post requisitions that accurately reflect the duties, responsibilities, education, training, certifications, experience and security classifications required for the positions.
  • Research new roles, technologies, and/or alternate sources (Associations, niche job boards, MeetUps, LinkedIn groups, etc) and source job boards to find candidates with unique or cutting edge experience.
  • Interview, screen and evaluate external and internal candidates, identifying applicants who fully meet the position requirements and referring to the hiring manager for consideration.
  • Coordinate phone screens / interviews, and make employment recommendations based on information developed.
  • Perform compensation analysis and evaluate offers with hiring managers, insuring the offer is competitive and internally equitable.
  • Extend and negotiate offers with candidates on behalf of GDIT.
  • Track preemployment processing to ensure candidates can start timely.
  • Ensure all phases of the recruiting process are conducted in accordance with fair employment practices and General Dynamics and GDIT's Ethics, Legal and Human Resources policies.
  • Ensure that GDIT's Workday ATS is maintained; applicants are dispositioned according to OFCCP guidelines, contacted appropriately, and interview forms are completed accurately.
  • Work with marketing or other teams to create and place employment ads in newspapers, trade magazines, websites, virtual job fairs, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to brainstorm on hard to fill positions, pitch in on surge, or participate in job fairs as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all tasks and a collaborative relationship with GDIT departments
  • Serves as an internal consultant to the business regarding staffing needs and projections, and advises on recruiting plans and the best course of action to fill open positions.
  • Participates in special projects as required


Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years recruiting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience such as no degree and 9+ years.
  • Experience recruiting and sourcing for IT roles (infrastructure, software development, and/or cyber security) is required. Experience recruiting for additional area such as healthcare, public health, laboratory science, finance, administrative, data analytics, etc is preferred.
  • Experience with req intake calls and drilling down on qualifications to ensure OFCCP compliance, clear sourcing and realistic requirements
  • Experience with utilizing an ATS system


DesiredSkills and Experience

  • Government contracting and/or Staffing Agency experience preferred
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment meeting successful hiring goals and time to fill targets
  • Experience collaborating with the team to brainstorm on hard to fill positions, pitch in on surge, etc.
