Multiple REMOTE opportunities for experienced Recruiters within our GROWING team!

Responsible for full cycle recruitment to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, and engaging in offer management discussions for MedStar Health jobs across multiple divisions/locations. The nature of this position requires skilled communication with employees and leaders at all levels, as well as with job seekers. Serves as member of the Talent Acquisition team, and contributes to the development of Recruitment programs, processes, tools, and techniques to sustain workforce excellence and create an exceptional candidate experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Training

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.


Experience

  • 3 years in Human Resources with a focus in Talent Acquisition and Hiring Management technology and tools.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others inside and outside the organization, to accomplish objectives to build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships, leverage, and act upon information, and achieve results.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Assesses and prioritizes candidates; conducts appropriate screening activities, which may be role-based to cultivate a viable candidate pool for hiring managers.
  2. Conducts interviews and when applicable, provides screening assessments for candidates. Maintains documentation of interview, assessment results and candidate workflow in ATS.
  3. Refers qualified candidates to the hiring manager for final consideration.
  4. Counsels hiring manager with respect to employment trends, compensation, sourcing techniques, interview process, documentation, candidate qualifications and selection.
  5. Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations and collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
  6. Negotiates compensation packages with candidates and extends verbal and written job offers based on established hiring targets or salary ranges taking internal equity into consideration.
  7. Facilitates hiring planning process and transitions candidates to the onboarding process.
  8. Participates in execution of recruitment initiatives.
  9. Tracks and meets monthly hiring goals and recruitment metrics such as time to fill.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.
