Talent is the fuel for business growth and to that end to assist Intelsat in its current rapid and transformational growth stage we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner who will focus on recruiting top talent as a fundamental driver of Intelsat's success. In this role you will perform full life-cycle recruiting for complex global technical and non-technical positions in various divisions throughout the companywith a focus on recruitment for the Gogo Commercial Aviation business. You will partner with educate and influence hiring managers on employment policies and procedures source and prescreen candidates through internet recruiting resources and databases (as well as other sources) conduct candidate screening calls and schedule interviews develop and extend job offers and fill openings with high caliber candidates. You will utilize our tools such as the applicant tracking system to enter timely and detailed information with a focus on the metrics around diversity hires and Time to Fill metric as well as frequent communication across the HR team.
Your role in helping us shape the future:

  • Perform full life-cycle global recruiting to hire top talent including passive talent. This includes checking references processing background checks and training hiring managers on interviewing techniques and coaching them throughout the hiring process.
  • Be a go-to and highly sought-after partner to hiring managers educating them on the employment market and Intelsat's employment policies and procedures.
  • Provide internal and external Candidates with a great experience while keeping hiring managers candidates and all stakeholders engaged and informed throughout the process.
  • Advise and influence hiring managers to post openings on social media and such as on LinkedIn and provide training if needed.
  • Keep the pulse on best practices in recruitment attend webinars trainings and share information with the team to drive process improvement. Update manuals with process changes as needed.
  • Ensure hiring managers are well versed on the applicant tracking system (selecting competency questions locating and reviewing resumes and entering ratings into the system). Lead periodic training such as the Structured Interview training for Hiring Managers and Panelists.
  • As an engaged member of the HR team and driver of an engaged and connected culture participate in and promote the various corporate Giving Back and Connect events etc.
  • Collaborate with HR peers as a go-to member on the team to provide training updates or reinforce practices to drive process consistency in support of business objectives.
  • Recommend and attend recruitment events (job fairs campus events networking functions etc.) with a focus on increasing brand awareness.
  • Ensure legal compliance with policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry in applicant tracking system.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.


You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (or an equivalent amount of education and work experience)
  • Five years of professional recruitment experience in a high volume / high growth corporate environment.
  • Experience with progressive recruitment resources such as social media including the ability to recommend and utilize these resources as appropriate for each assigned position.
  • Successful hands-on sourcing experience such as networking and sourcing via the Internet- LinkedIn etc.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws/regulations pertaining to employment (EEO OFCCP etc.) required.
  • Superior interpersonal analytical and verbal/written communication skills including the ability to negotiate with and influence internal and external customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task required.
  • Must have excellent selection and process management skills.
  • Superior organizational skills time management abilities and adaptability to rapidly changing demands required.
  • Ability to close out requisitions in a timely manner (i.e. maintain a reasonable time-to-fill).
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including Excel Word and Outlook.
  • SHRM certification (e.g. PHR GPHR SPHR) preferred.
  • Applicant Tracking System experience required.
  • Recruiters with Tech or Satellite / Telecommunications recruitment experience preferred.
