The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for developing and leading a team focused on high volume recruiting in our Healthcare division across the Unites States. They will provide leadership and mentoring to a growing team of Talent Acquisition Specialists focused on delivering the best experience to both candidates and our business, balancing speed and quality in our efforts. This position will lead by example in performing recruiting for higher level/strategic roles while providing coaching to the team. This position partners with business and HR leadership to gather input and continuously educate on Talent Acquisition accomplishments, processes and responsibilities with an emphasis on exploring ways to enhance the model's effectiveness and sustainability.
Responsibilities:

  • Set and manage objectives for a Talent Acquisition team and ensure consistent touch points to review progress.
  • Serve as an internal consultant. Provide counsel to both Business and People Team Leaders.
  • Talent Acquisition team escalation point to guide and support the team in clearing all recruitment roadblocks.
  • Develop, implement and measure successful recruitment strategies and campaigns to recruit both internal and external candidates. Recommend improvements.
  • Work with People Team representatives and the business leadership to understand internal talent pools and mobility opportunities.
  • Gain in depth knowledge of talent pools.
  • Set standards of excellence and advance the People planning needs of the business.
  • Develop recruitment strategies with Sr. Leadership, HR Business Partners and Operations for new and existing markets.
  • Develop successful networks within management, talent teams and Human Resources Partners.
  • Be responsible for directly recruiting higher level/more strategic roles for the business
  • Use all information resources available to identify opportunities and barriers to delivering business results and work with TA leadership to adjust business tactics accordingly.
  • Creating a positive work environment for staff members and up-skill all members of the team.
  • Understand and deliver the data and analysis needed to enable strategic Talent Management business decisions.
  • Understand the importance of diversity as a key part of Nuance's future Talent Strategy. Incorporate a diversity lens in Talent Acquisition initiatives to support continued progress in this area.


Education: This position requires a BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent talent acquisition experience.
Years of Work Experience: 5 or more years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition with at least 1 or more years of team management
Required Experience:

  • Experience of recruiting from entry level and up to executive level
  • Should have in depth recruiting and sourcing experience - be able to lead by example
  • Experience in using and optimizing applicant tracking/ATS to support recruiting operations.
  • A proven consultative approach, superior organization skills and an ability to produce value adding metrics and reports for senior decision makers.
  • Must possess project management skills in order to work on and potentially lead various projects
  • Must be able to communicate information in a concise manner to top management to assist in decision-making. Must possess deep HR subject matter knowledge
  • Well-developed experience in using multiple recruiting strategies and sources including advanced use of social networking sites, for passive and active candidate recruitment
  • Strong skills at cultivating relationships with business leaders
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to listen, advise and influence business leaders
  • Cross-functional project management experience and the ability to lead a diverse team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills
  • Initiates, implements and supports change within the organization
  • Demonstrates a high degree of integrity in dealing with sensitive information

  • Experience overseeing high-volume recruiting
