To meet our goals, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Leader who can support us in building an inspiring, inclusive work environment that attracts and retains world class talent.

If you are passionate about recruitment delivery excellence and developing trusted consultative relationships with our clients, then this role is for you. The Talent Acquisition Manager will report directly to the Director, Global Talent Acquisition. In this role, the manager takes a lead role in planning, managing, and measuring recruiting's ongoing success, while concurrently supporting the development of proactive talent strategies to ensure targeted pipeline development in support of Business Operating Unit (BOU)-specific hiring needs. This role is both a requisition-bearing people leader position and a valued strategic partner opportunity.

Do you thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment where collaborative-based solutions are used to solve talent challenges? Are you a process-focused and data-driven recruiting professional that enjoys crafting unique recruiting strategies to scale for hiring volumes and to fill complex roles? We are looking for you!

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Leads a team of BOU-specific Talent Acquisition Consultants (TACs) and carries a requisition load to support overall tactical demands, as required.

  • Works, in partnership with HRBPs, to conduct talent business reviews (to identify gaps/external market talent requirements), closely aligning our Talent Acquisition (TA) activities with BOU business strategies.
  • Serves as an internal subject matter expert who proposes creative, viable talent solutions to BOU Leadership and ensures that critical success issues are addressed on a proactive basis.
  • Articulates and formally presents talent planning/market intelligence roadmaps to clients, demonstrating how these align with human capital management trends and their overarching BOU business objectives.
  • Manages day-to-day BOU recruiting activities, effectively managing any TA-related roadblocks and escalation(s) within assigned BOU's to resolution.
  • Consistently delivers required TA results; sets and achieves realistic yet stretch goals; consistently complies with quality service, productivity standards, and meets deadlines; focused on the company's talent goals.
  • Leads various ad hoc TA projects that enable our people to optimize work efforts, improve delivery consistency, and continue to drive team engagement within an inspired 'one team culture.
  • Creates opportunities for cross-pollination of knowledge transfer and working as 'one team.'
  • Collaborates with TA Technology & Program Manager to optimize all Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and talent acquisition tools, systems, and resources.
  • Plans and executes proactive talent pipelining, market research, competitor intelligence and strategic sourcing activities including leveraging Stantec's Sourcing and Research team.
  • Works with Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) team to understand organizational diversity goals and develop & drive global outreach strategies to establish talent pipelines/talent pools. (i.e., 3rd party associations, career fairs, community I&D groups, internal ERG's, etc.)
  • Provides regular status updates to key stakeholders and addresses any issues that could potentially jeopardize agreed-upon recruitment Service Level Partnerships.
  • Maintains operational effectiveness & compliance by guiding TACs regarding relevant changes to employment policies, practices, and procedures.
