What You'll Do
We are excited to share a great opportunity for a talented, passionate, versatile writer to join our Global Business Enablement Marketing team. You'll help craft compelling copy across the marketing landscape working with a team that owns and supports talent acquisition, sales enablement, global expansion, and executive communications initiatives.
You'll influence the voice of everything we do for Global Business Enablement Marketing. Social, longform, digital, video, advertising, campaigns, sales and recruiting collateral. All of it! You'll use your creative thinking and marketing acumen to solve business problems and elevate our brand, collaborating with other creatives and subject matter experts across the organization.
Responsibilities will include:
- Research, write, and proof content types of varying lengths for video, motion graphics, social media, digital, and print collateral
- Interview senior leadership and subject matter experts to develop ideas, collect content, and ensure that our stories are told in a smart, compelling way
- Distill complex concepts and subject matter into content that's accessible to a wide range of audiences
- Draft on-brand, platform-appropriate social messaging to support marketing initiatives
- Support internal communication efforts related to Global Business Enablement initiatives
- Collaborate with designers, technologists, and marketers on creative projects - from conception to publication
- Uphold the Slalom brand voice and tone across all work
- Quickly develop expertise in multiple topics related to Slalom's services and capabilities
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a professional writer in advertising, marketing, or related organizations
- A natural storyteller with strong interview and research capabilities
- Portfolio of excellent writing samples, including evidence of distillation of complex subject matter
- Know the B2B digital marketing space
- Self-organized, able to manage multiple projects and workstreams at once
- Versatile, confident, fun, optimistic
- Familiarity with consulting and/or technology industries is a plus
- Experience with marketing automation and social media publishing platforms is also a plus
