Job Description

About the team

The B2B Payments Relationship Management team is a group that manages the existing customer base of some 400+ multinational fortune 1000 companies that us our tokenization, processing and payment solutions.  The team interacts with various roles within the assigned portfolio of accounts, including finance, IT, vendor management and executive leaders.  This team also works along side various other teams to make the most of the relationship with these customers – including: professional services for project-based work, sales engineers for developing new opportunities, support for addressing issues that arise, finance and accounting for mitigating any financial issues that develop, and of course other leaders and parts of FIS to introduce more solutions and players into the organization.

What you will be doing

  • You will ensure that the customer is satisfied with company projects and services and remains in a positive reference status.
  • You will be responsible for developing a healthy pipeline of add-on work and opportunities to further the depth and breadth of the FIS relationship with the customer.
  • You will manage and mitigate any accounts that become at-risk of churn effectively for the minimum impact to our revenue streams.
  • You will develop and manage on an on-going basis an account plan for your portfolio of accounts and in more detail your strategic accounts.
  • You will be consistent and effective in closing opportunities against your pipeline and projected forecast.

What you bring:

  • Experience in working with large and complex customers and organizations.
  • Willingness to stay engaged with customers and work through issues as needed.
  • A strong desire to achieve and exceed your measures of success (quotas, metrics, & goals).
  • An ability to work across various teams, groups and organizations inside FIS, including openness to bring in other players, sellers, and leaders as needed.
  • Experience in Fintech, Payments, Acquiring, Software as a Service are very beneficial to this role.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Prior consulting experience working with customers in projects or implementations
  • Several years of accomplished quota achievement in sales or account roles
  • Strategic account management experience and building account plans
