Job Description:
People are our greatest asset and the Talent Acquisition team is on the frontlines of finding and attracting the best of the best for Pluralsight! We are seeking a Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting efforts for our Product and Technology functions. Reporting into the Head of Talent Acquisition, you'll work closely with the People team and business leadership to develop recruiting strategies that land the right talent enabling Pluralsight to meet its daring growth goals.
You'll use your strong market knowledge and communication skills to tell our story and influence processes and decisions which will contribute to an incredible candidate experience! It will be important that you build strong relationships to collaborate with peers, business partners and key leaders to drive results for Talent Acquisition. As part of the recruiting team, you'll have resources to get things done, and autonomy to lead strategy and define tactics to attract technical talent.

  • Anticipate team needs and growth and hire, flex and stretch to meet changing business demands
  • Self-motivated and directed; ability to collaborate is needed but you will be autonomous and expected to succeed without a ton of direction
  • Optimistic and Fun; you take your work seriously but have fun doing it with a positive outlook


What you'll own:

  • Lead recruitment efforts supporting Product & Technology Functions
  • Hire and train any recruiters needed for your lines of business
  • Assess and predict workloads for the team and optimally load balance to ensure recruiters are able to work efficiently, strategically and bring speed to the business
  • Help to create and implement hiring strategies to achieve an annual hiring plan that emphasizes quality and diversity of hires, process efficiency, strong client management and encourages the sharing of best practices
  • Effectively lead all communication related to recruiting status and strategy with assigned functions
  • Collaborate closely with partners such as People Business Partners and Finance to ensure alignment and communication
  • Lead key projects to enhance candidate and hiring manager experience or other innovative improvements


Experience you'll need:

  • Demonstrated experience leading recruiting for a function in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical industry experience strongly preferred
  • 4-5 years of combined experience in internal recruiting, executive search or consulting/agency
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to work with metrics, numbers, and trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
