Vroom is hiring a Sr Manager of Talent Acquisition for Product, Engineering, Data and IT. This person will lead and develop Tech and Product recruiting strategies and deliver on results/hiring targets every quarter.

A customer focused individual who listens, analyzes and acts on leader feedback and adjusts recruiting strategies and methods accordingly. This person will demonstrate a comfortable range of talking with early talent up to senior leadership about technical, process and strategic subject matter.


Must be a data driven decision maker using internal workforce trends to understand the data, present conclusions, and pinpoint opportunities in a clear and concise manner with passion about owning, driving and executing talent acquisition activities as a result. 


The Role:

You will help build the diverse and dynamic workforce that gives Vroom a competitive advantage and shapes the future of our brand. Internally and externally for Product, Engineering, Data and IT.


Continuously enhance and deliver, in partnership with internal customers, an effective cost contained recruiting strategy supporting programs that focus on both quality of hire (i.e., culture add, diversity, etc.) and timeliness of hire, sourcing the highest caliber of talent.


Develop and lead programs that support the filling of immediate recruitment targets, build a pipeline for future needs, and establish innovative candidate sourcing strategies, especially for hard-to-fill positions in accordance with legal requirements.


Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders in Tech, Product, hiring managers, and critical HR stakeholders operating as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.


Assist in developing, and retaining a highly effective team of in-house recruiting professionals, in addition to identifying and maintaining relationships with contractors.


Measure team effectiveness and provide metrics and actionable insights to hiring managers and TA LeadershipIncorporate and drive a diverse employer brand strategyLead the staffing function and all steps associated with sourcing and delivering qualified, diverse candidates in the recruitment of prospective employees.


Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the markets and our competition, and emerging industry trends.


Demonstrate and ensure expert use of social media sources, resume harvesting and parsing, databases, and job boards to source and pursue qualified candidates.


In partnership with Sr Manager of TA continuously evaluate the efficacy of the design, development, and implementation of processes and special projectsLeads, coaches, develops, mentors, and supports a high performing team of technical recruiters.


Continuously evaluate team workload to ensure optimal service delivery by refining as necessary based on department priorities allocating resources accordinglyIdentify and recommend learning and development opportunities for team members to develop the capabilities of the team.


Partner with the Sr Manager of TA and HR Business Partner to monitor headcount prioritization, report on the weekly trends and results.


Requirements:


7- 10 Years Recruiting experience preferred


3+ Years experience leading a team of technical recruiters 


Experience developing and executing a scalable recruitment strategy to attract and hire a diverse slate of candidates for tech, product, customer service and corporate, university, and front-line positions
