JOB SUMMARY
The Sr Manager, Human Resources will report directly to the Vice President, Human Resources for Community Solutions and has Business Partner responsibilities for a diverse client group. In addition, it provides strategic, analytical and project leadership on a wide range of initiatives impacting the entire Business Unit. It is a highly visible position and works closely with executives and the HR leadership team to ensure critical programs are executed such as Performance Management, Talent Planning, and career development endeavors. This individual will combine HR mastery and industry knowledge to appropriately evaluate and resolve complex HR issues within a fast paced and changing business environment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all aspects of employee relations; ensure Company policies are administered fairly and consistently. Provide consultative support to managers and supervisors.
Partner with respective client group in order to understand the business challenges and to ensure effective and timely HR support
In partnership with our HR Center of Excellence (COEs), ensure HR processes are deployed flawlessly
Establish project management processes and methodologies to ensure multiple projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet high quality standards
Design and develop reports, prepare analyses and make predictions based on data and analysis
Create robust presentations and written communications in a variety of visual formats to provide insight to users
Ensure legal compliance with all applicable local state and federal employment laws, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA and ADA, and AA to minimize risk/exposure to the company
Provide guidance to ensure the integrity of the performance management program, the development of employees, and partner with leadership on the design and implementation of employee retention strategies
Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure compliance with EEO, FCC and Affirmative Action;
Oversee timely and accurate recordkeeping regarding payroll processing, employee files and HRIS database
Conduct employee investigations and oversee all escalated employee issues
Hire, train and manage performance and development of direct reports
Collaborate/communicate with team members and key stakeholders to understand their needs, provide status updates, propose solutions and gain alignment
Participate in budget planning as needed and manage departmental expenses
Partner with business leaders to evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:
HR Acumen and technical aptitude
Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs and expectations
Ability to develop strong working relationships across the organization
Ability to effectively manage/lead projects
Ability to supervise the work of others
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate ideas and thoughts in written presentations
Ability to deal with issues and subject matter in ways that requires considerable sensitivity, discretion, and judgment
Strong PC skills and MS Office skills - expert in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Advanced knowledge of local state and federal employment laws and procedures
Advanced knowledge of employee relation's procedures and applicable law
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or organizational behavior, or related field, or equivalent experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years:
Human Resource Generalist experience in a multi-location environment - 6-7
Management experience - 3+
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company required standards preferred
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree preferred
Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR) preferred
