Overview
This position will provide technical and analytical consultation and support to Talent Acquisition for TA system and technology needs across PennyMac lines of business. The Talent Acquisition Senior Analyst maintains \"expert\" status in the recruitment systems and procedures.
Job Description

  • Function as a subject matter expert for all TA systems/modules and actively participate in their optimization to ensure efficient TA operations, processing and report generation.
  • Drive the definition and organization of business requirements and other user requests for automation of information and systems within talent acquisition.
  • In partnership with teammates, develop and conduct ongoing system wide recruiter and customer training associated with technology and process changes.
  • Function as the ATS and CRM systems expert, managing talent acquisition help tickets to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Act as a resource for talent acquisition system and design questions for all existing and proposed information systems.
  • Define, verify and audit report data based on customer specifications and talent acquisition data knowledge.
  • Develop and work with the employment brand team to communicate system changes.
  • Work with local, regional and system leadership and project teams to identify, design, test and implement new systems or improvements to existing systems and associated procedures.
  • Coordinate with system wide HR and Talent Acquisition staff and other customers to analyze and satisfy information needs through production of established reports or utilization of various tools and applications to develop new reports.
  • Investigate, resolve, and perform follow up tasks on process and system related problems.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years' experience in a quantitative analysis role, preferably in Recruiting and/or Human Resources
  • Technical proficiency: Advanced in MS Excel/Google sheets, ATS data analysis, report writing and visualization tools (i.e. Tableau), SQL query expressions, report designs, and automation of reports
  • Understanding of SQL, complex statistical methods, and/or experience with a programming language and complex statistical methods (regressions, random forest, etc.) is a plus as you will be partnering with our People Analytics team in understanding and delivery of Recruiting requirements
  • Ability to lead initiatives across multiple recruiting areas and communicate findings with leadership and recruiting teams to quickly turn insights into actions
  • Experience in data storytelling and use of data visualizations to bring important takeaways and concepts to life. Creates cogent narratives and encourages business partners to critically engage in data-driven decision making
  • Experience in Recruiting or Human Resources technology and tools experience with iCIMS, HireVue, UKG a plus
  • Knowledge of Human Resources practices and principles preferred
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skill set
  • Sound judgment and desire for innovation, ability to think and express oneself creatively with numbers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
