Sr. Consultant, Talent Acquisition Strategy & Operations (full-time remote or hybrid)

As a Sr. Consultant, Strategy & Operations for Talent Acquisition you will be responsible for the strategy, development, planning, implementation, and overall end-to-end project management of core Talent Acquisition recruitment processes and recruitment technologies that support the recruitment lifecycle. You will partner with internal Talent Acquisition teams to identify, implement and deliver initiatives that focus on increasing operational efficiency and productivity while delivering an exceptional user and candidate experience. You will act as a representative on enterprise-wide initiatives and strategically advocate for Talent Acquisition with multiple constituents across HR. In addition, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition operational initiatives that improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the team and candidate experience
  • Provide project management expertise to optimize recruitment processes and technologies including strategy, project plan creation, project timelines, delivery of new processes, communication, training, and full roll-out
  • Ensure leaders and team members are trained on appropriate utilization of core operations, compliance, and workday recruiting changes, including updates to job aides and other tools and resources, to strengthen the recruiter and candidate experiences
  • Offer consulting and expertise to broader Talent Acquisition and core partners based on key system or process insights
  • Provide ongoing end-user strategic guidance for Talent Acquisition related processes and technology
  • Communicate program strategy and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders by drafting presentations, reports, and correspondence in support of strategic priorities
  • Represent Talent Acquisition on enterprise initiatives across total HR impacting teams within Talent Acquisition and partner teams

About You:

  • 3+ years of Workday Recruiting ATS experience in implementation, maintenance, and process optimization
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong execution, accountability and follow-through
  • Desire to continuously evaluate Talent Acquisition recruitment processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to write, maintain and communicate process documentation to team
  • Ensures timely and accurate delivery of operational requests; prioritizes work across multiple requests and projects
  • Desire and ability to innovate and evolve existing processes/best practices
  • Demonstrated collaboration and strong interpersonal skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • A growth mindset (resiliency, curiosity, enthusiasm for the future, bias for action)
  • Work in a virtual team environment - self-motivated & driven
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not aTarget location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,600k to $118,100k.
