The Job

Tango Card is looking for a Sourcing Recruiter to join our Seattle office and own the sourcing process from end-to-end.  You will work with our sourcers, recruiters and hiring managers to discover and develop strategies to identify, attract, and wow top talent. We are passionate about delivering a candidate experience that really demonstrates our values, our culture, and what it’s like to be a Tangocardian.

While you will be expected to source talent across all roles, you will primarily focus on building pipelines for some of our highest volume and challenging fill roles, including customer service, operations and engineering. You’ll leverage your skills in research and sourcing to contribute to “data cases” around sourcing channels, approaches and candidate messaging to ensure a start to finish, amazing candidate experience with each stage of the sourcing process. Your natural curiosity will help you drive results in identifying the formulas to deliver statistically sustainable results. This is an exciting opportunity to join the sourcing squad in a rapidly growing and innovative recruitment function and organization.

Reports to: Director, Recruiting and Candidate Experience

Who You Are:

  • Champion - You champion the talent sourcing process from start to finish
  • Seeker – You LOVE the thrill of finding top talent; you know where to look and how to craft messages that will result in qualified applications
  • Innovator - You innovate and contribute our sourcing processes, from minor style improvements to crafting intriguing improvements to our sourcing approach
  • Project Manager - You care for multiple, time-sensitive requisitions and follow through daily on an excellent pipeline of candidates
  • Partner - You partner with recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, team members, and the People Team throughout the hiring process
  • In-the-know - You keep up with the latest sourcing trends, from networking to diving into the  “deeper data details” of how top companies are meeting the best talent, right where they’re at
  • Data-Driven - you gravitate toward insights that identify and drive results; you aren’t afraid to take strategic turns to explore, discover and test-drive data theories that could get us one step closer to connecting with top talent
  • Vault - You are discreet and handle confidential information and documents with sensitivity
  • Communicator - You effectively communicate both internally to clients and leaders and externally to candidates and recruiting agencies
  • Connector - You enjoy connecting others and have a good understanding of the talent market; you help plan and host virtual meetups and other unique events to cultivate our talent brand
  • Resourceful - You understand most facets of employment law, immigration, compensation structure, and benefits (and when you don’t, you know what to research or who to talk to!)
  • Hungry - you understand that sourcing is an art, a numbers game, yet coincidentally also a science. You seek to understand it, live it, breathe it! You’ve dabbled in enough sourcing approaches, techniques and formulas to be dangerous. But you are hungry to uncover and discover even more! You are the living example of curiosity and are determined to be the future of us cracking the sourcing code!
  • Lover of ‘tech’ language and learning - you are developing your proficiency and speak ‘tech’ in quite a few verticals (engineering, marketing or IT, anyone?). You are determined to master the many technical levels and areas of expertise for a variety of roles. Couple that with your love of learning and you’ll soon be ‘fluent’ in marketing editor and web developer!
  • Super Sleuth - you uncover things no one else saw coming; from discovering pockets of talent that are unreached to correlating affinity trends in candidates still yet untapped

Who You Are Not:

  • Brand spankin’ new to sourcing - you are still trying to discern the difference between recruiting and sourcing
  • Want to “try it out” - you’re just looking for “a job” to try out sourcing; don’t like data or metrics, or have a passion for sleuthing
  • Processor - Someone that goes through the motions and passes lukewarm candidates to recruiters
  • Checkbox’er - a Sourcer who reaches out to randomly-selected candidates to “see what happens”
