Technical Recruiter
Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it's necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Atlassian is growing faster than ever, and we are excited to add a Senior Technical Recruiter to our world-class Talent Acquisition team! In this position, you'll be responsible for guiding Full Stack Software Engineering candidates through our hiring process and connecting them with openings across our suite of product teams. You'll play an integral role in making Atlassian a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive company through your hiring and promotion practices. You'll be expected to close the top technical talent in our industry, utilize data to optimize hiring processes, and build solid relationships with sourcers, hiring managers, and candidates alike.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting
- 1-2 years of experience specifically hiring software engineers within the tech industry
- The ability to adopt a data-driven, consultative approach with our hiring managers to craft win-win outcomes
- Familiarity with relevant tools and programs (e.g., applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, referral programs, and job boards)
- Experience building respectful, collaborative partnerships with sourcers and recruiting coordinators
It's great, but not required to have:
- High-volume agency experience
- Experience driving process improvements
