PURPOSE

The Senior Technical Recruiter leverages sound knowledge, consultation and influencing skills to aid business leaders in attracting and hiring best-in-class technical talent through innovative and proven sourcing and talent attraction strategies. In this role you will identify, engage, and connect with top technical and IT/IS talent on an ongoing basis to ensure a robust pipeline of candidates for open and future positions. This position works with IT/IS leaders and HR leaders to understand both current and future technical staffing needs, determine effective recruiting strategies, and manage the full cycle technical recruiting process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop comprehensive data-driven talent acquisition strategies to source and attract top technical, IT and IS talent to build high caliber teams and partner with IT leaders to execute strategies
  • Serve as a talent consultant by understanding the functional talent needs of the business unit and leveraging a holistic view of the internal and external labor market to identify talent and provide guidance on attraction strategies
  • Evaluate technical resumes, conduct qualitative phone screens, and provide informed recommendations to hiring leadership
  • Provide expertise in interviewing methodology and high-touch customer-focused processes to enable consistent quality of hire
  • Manage the recruiting process from quickly sourcing candidates through to onboarding
  • Communicate with internal candidates, external candidates, and hiring teams throughout the process
  • Develop applicant sources including internal and external networks, agencies, industry sources, and associations
  • Continuously analyze talent competition, local talent markets, technology, and macro-environmental impacts on staffing



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in both a technical staffing agency and corporate environment preferred
  • Experience with current creative sourcing methodologies
  • Experience with candidate care and balancing process with candidate experience
  • Knowledge with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, data management/reporting techniques and software collaboration tools
  • Experience creating and fostering partnerships with internal leadership and executive teams
  • Experience influencing and driving results



COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable with using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Knowledge of legal and compliance issues such as EEOC and OFCCP regulations
