Ally and Your Career

Ally Financial only succeeds when its people do - and that's more than some cliche people put on job postings. We live this stuff! Our focus is on the health and safety of our teammates as well as work-life balance and diversity and inclusion. From generous benefits to a variety of employee resource groups, we strive to build paths that encourage employees to stretch themselves professionally. We want to help you grow, develop, and learn new things. You're constantly evolving, so shouldn't your opportunities be, too?

The Opportunity

Do you have a passion for developing leaders and employees? As a member of the Enterprise Learning and Development (L&D) team at Ally, you will report to the L&D Facilitation Manager and will be a member of the newly created facilitation function. You will be responsible for coordination, certification, upskilling, coaching, and coordination of facilitators sitting in various lines of businesses and functions across Ally. You will spend your days teaching others, enriching careers, and positively impacting leadership competencies and business results across the enterprise.

This is an individual contributor role with broad enterprise impact. This role will be located in Charlotte, NC. Although we are currently operating in a virtual training environment, travel will be needed in the future, when face-to-face offerings resume.

  • Work collaboratively with L&D teams in various business units, HR Business Partners, subject matter experts, and the broader Talent Management Team, while ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Gather and relay feedback from learning participants to the broader L&D team to help update and/or redesign content to be most effective for the learner
  • Provide input and support to peers on the team to design, develop, and implement new learning content and programs
  • Serve as a trusted and valued business partner
