This is a hybrid roleAt Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

As the Senior Technical Recruiter, you must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline by using organic search tools. You have mastered the ability to prioritize, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service. You see yourself as a sourcing Guru and find endless joy in closing passive candidates. You are beyond comfortable working on tech roles and enjoy the variety of don’t mind stepping in for sales, marketing, and G&A roles as needed. 

Responsibilities

  • Exemplify Bluevine's culture to potential candidates and promote our reputation as a great place to work
  • Perform full-cycle recruitment and act as the point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process
  • Conduct recruitment launch meetings with hiring managers to set expectations and maintain ongoing communication throughout the process
  • Partner closely with PeopleHR, IT, and Finance to ensure a smooth candidate experience
  • Advise hiring teams on policies, processes, and compliance with recruiting initiatives
  • Design and execute a creative sourcing strategy to build a pipeline of diverse and highly qualified candidates through referrals, pro-active market research, and ongoing relationship management
  • Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performing candidates

Required Experience and Education

  • 8+ years of progressive, in-house recruiting experience including sourcing and full cycle recruiting
  • Ability to execute a recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
  • Proven ability to profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit, and not just sell the role
  • ATS experience required; Greenhouse experience preferred
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches
  • Strong relationship management skills; exquisite customer service mindset for candidates and hiring managers alike; ability to train, coach and mentor less experienced hiring managers
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, nimble environment with the goal of closing out every day successfully
  • Excited to hire for a hybrid work environment; experience working with internal comp guidelines
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree

What unique initiatives do you have that encourage innovation?

Our External Applications Group builds the products and solutions that onboard new customers and bring more value to existing ones. The team is working on enhancing the product suite for lending and banking products, and one of the biggest challenges we are tackling is re-writing the BlueVine mobile app from scratch in Native technology.

What's the biggest problem your team is solving?

We ask ourselves everyday, What data do we need to make this decision? Too often, we rely on the data at hand and ignore the need to seek more data to complete the picture. That is where my team has the power to introduce new data into the Bluevine ecosystem to democratizing the access to data. Doing so, we solve the problems of poor data quality!
