Qualification:
BA/BS degree in business, communications, human resources or related discipline and/or equivalent work

Responsibility:
Business Partnering:
*To further strengthen the connection, recruiters should seek to attend weekly team meetings to align their efforts with the business and actively engage hiring managers through meetings
- * Connect with other support groups like TSC, Business Operations for the demand view.
- * Endtoend recruiting support for business unit in identifying, selecting and hiring the right fit talent.
- * Serves the current open requirements and provides regular updates to the BU on the progress.
- *Under guidance of Recruitment Lead, regularly communicates with Hiring Managers on status updates, challenges & market trends.
- *Manages conflicts & subsequent resolution with Hiring Managers.
- *Provide support, as appropriate, related to recruiting content for RFPs.
Partner with Sourcing Team:
* Work closely with Sourcing Partner to ensure he/she understands the role, has a proper reach out strategy for candidates, and knows how to manage candidates effectively throughout process
- * Continuously develop and maintain a fit for purpose talent pool.
- *Develop a network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and hiring team to help identify and source qualified candidates.
- *Leverage the internet, including social and professional networking sites, to identify and source candidates.
Candidate Experience:
*Understands candidate drivers & respond/resolve queries through the entire recruiting cycle
- *Keeps the candidate engaged through constant communication.
- * Works with other internal stakeholders (sourcing, onboarding, BU teams) to improve candidate experience.
- * Brings in innovative approaches to enhance candidate experience.
- Employer Branding: Provides a positive candidate experience.
- effectively represents and markets the Cognizant employment brand, the organization's business objectives and career options to potential candidates.
Planning/Organizing:
*Breaks hiring plan to milestones/events to achieve the targets
- *Plans weekend events effectively & ensures success around candidate & panel participation.
- *Judiciously uses channels / techniques to optimize cost.
- *Escalates issues timely.
- *Recognizes risks & proposes timely solutions to mitigate the same.
Quality of Hiring:
*Follows a consistent process and best practices for selecting highest quality candidates
- *Effectively represent Market landscape and stack rank skill.
- *Summarizes the candidate's strengths, weaknesses and anticipates needs.
Offer & Onboard:
*Provides appropriate support, sets right expectations with the candidate (like total rewards, internal growth, development, salary reviews, travel etc) & is professional throughout the offer process
- *Demonstrates indepth knowledge of employment regulations and articulates/extends offers accordingly.
- *Articulates offers to selected candidates under the guidance of Leads and within the Cognizant Offer guidelines and appropriate approvals.
- *Addresses candidates queries and concerns related to the offer.
- *Candidate followup for the onboarding process & interact with POFU team.
- *Generate and Maintain reports on No of Offers & Prospective Joiners Month on Month.
- *Works closely with the Onboarding Team to ensure smooth onboarding experience.
- *Manages Offer Comparisons if any (Cognizant's offer to an alternate offer).
- *Builds solid and longterm candidate relationships.
- *Negotiates complex offers with requisite approval & guidance from Recruitment Leads.
Compliance & Process Adherence:
• Constantly monitor the team to adhere compliance norms and procedures
Cost per Hire Ratio:
*Follow the BU Hiring Grids
- *Ensures the fitments are based on the recommended percentile value.
- *Resources, as a priority, via low cost / direct channels / Referrals.
- *Adherence to hiring policies & the reflection of the same in candidate, stakeholder conversations.
- * Negotiates in difficult situations & seek guidance as the need be.
Networking:
*Inculcates personal networks internal, and external to organization to achieve results
*Participates in networking opportunities to expand horizons (eg:
MeetUps, Stakeholder Tech Connects, Webinars)
- *Leverages various opportunities to build the Cognizant Brand.
- *Brings in innovative thinking to enhance existing networking practices.
Hiring Tools/techniques:
*Is able to identify any gaps in the tool, flag to leads
- *Coaches teams/individuals on the usage of the tools.
Market Intelligence:
*Possesses good understanding of market trends and competitors
- *Applies Market Intelligence to achieve desired results.
- *Has good knowledge about market conditions, compensation, competition, M&As.
- *Is able to study the market through varied sources & share findings on talent market, market trends to advise business.
Mentoring:
*Guides and mentors other recruiters
- *Actively participates in special recruitment wide initiatives.
- *Manage multiple special projects simultaneously, while also working on recruiting or hiring initiatives.
