About the Role 

The People & Culture team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join the Recruiting Programs, Operations and Strategy team to create the strategic infrastructure, systems, processes, analyses, tools and more to enable our teams to do their very best work. This leader will use their experience, data and insights to create innovation and identify solutions within the Recruiting hiring processes to build world class experiences. Drawing on these insights, they will work very closely with our Recruiting teams and broader P&C leaders to drive and launch major strategic projects and bring operational excellence and data-informed approaches to how we ensure Stitch Fix hires the brightest talent.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who has strong program and portfolio management, and problem solving skills and wants to apply those skills beyond discrete projects but rather to impactful, strategic initiatives that have organization wide impact.

This role can either be based in our San Francisco HQ or remote (US) and will report directly to the Director, Recruiting Programs, Operations & Strategy.

  • Partner closely with business and People & Culture leaders to identify the greatest opportunities for impact and the highest-priority initiatives to address them
  • Select and deploy the most effective innovations and technology for Stitch Fix (i.e., talent-related AI tools, assessments, automation, etc.)
  • Plan and execute multiple large scale, complex initiatives against project plans, change management, and go-live and business readiness plans; Tracking initiative outcomes, taking lessons learned forward to expand, improve and build scalable processes
  • Establish standards, cadence and version controls for documentation and workflow to ensure success of initiatives
  • Create ‘enablement infrastructure’ that makes our leaders ever more effective such as creating enhanced interview processes, streamlining workflows and reducing touch-points, etc.
  • Ensure the operational excellence of the Recruiting team through project and program reporting; developing insights to assist decision making
  • Partner on strategic planning for the Recruiting team (e.g., setting OKRs, Annual Plan, QBRs, Recruiting Operations roadmap)
  • Be a key thought partner for and driver of diversity & inclusion initiatives across the entire recruiting lifecycle

The perspective and experience you bring includes...

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience - experience in consulting, change management or commensurate ‘in-house’ experience at a large, complex organization with a focus on strategic projects and change management 
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to track, prioritize and drive projects with high levels of accountability to know where things are and where they need to be and our progress
  • Drives process not simply for process sake but in order to drive impactful outcomes
  • Ability to recognize and differentiate the needs and priorities of stakeholders 
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives on timelines while identifying and implementing continuous improvements in approach and design 
  • Experience managing communications to wide audiences at all levels including executive stakeholders (e.g. project plans, presentations, analyses appropriate for the different needs and priorities of each stakeholder)
  • Experience developing frameworks to guide execution, drive clarity and effective collaboration and communication
  • Experience with end to end project management methodologies & frameworks and tools 
  • Working knowledge of HR and Recruiting systems preferred (Workday, Greenhouse, etc)
