POSITION OVERVIEW:

dormakaba is seeking a "customer first" focused Senior Manager, HR Shared Services & HR Technology for the Indianapolis, IN corporate office. This position is responsible for leading the America's HR Operations Service Delivery Functions (HR Shared Services and HRIS) to elevate and optimize systems, processes, and resources that meet and exceed the business needs.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Builds a high performing team focused on the Americas by setting clear expectations, providing role clarity, communicating, coaching, developing and performance managing team members. Partners to provide clear and measurable objectives and key results, provides guidance to the team individually and jointly, and holds self and team accountable for elevating and delivering on expectations
  • Builds, elevates and leads the Americas HR Shared Services team to accurately and timely complete data collection and data management duties while delivering an exceptional employee and internal customer experience
  • Build an Amricas team to respond to Tier 1 employee questions in person, via phone or through email as it realtes to thier payroll, beenfits or other general HR relateded questions
  • Design a true HR Shared Services process to inlcude documentation and a responsibility matrix for responding to customer questions at Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 level of complexity
  • Serves as policy and subject matter expert on the HR processes to support the full employee life-cycle with the ability to adjust basd on country differences throughout the Americas while maintinaining a best-in-class employee experience
  • Creates, leads and drives Americas HRIS optimization to provide accurate and timely data management and reporting that meets and exceeds the business needs
  • Drives and oversees system enhancements, process improvements, and project efforts for to accomplish objectives and move toward best in class HR Shared Services and Technology.
  • Leads/supports vendor selection, management, development and optimization for HR Shared Services and HR Technology related systems/partners (may include RFP process, contract/agreements, etc.)
  • Manage HR Operations budget
  • Stay up-to-date on external market trends relative to HR Shared Services and HR Technology to optimize HR buiness processes and provide a world class employee experience
  • Shares business and HR operations expertise and insight by bringing new ideas, creativity and experience to the broader HR team and as well as the global HR team


REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5 to 7 years previous experience leading HR Functions / HR Operations / HRIS in a mid-large multi-site North Americas or Americas company
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or other relevant discipline
  • Experience leading a remote team
  • Strong HRIS, data analytics and reporting background
  • Strong Microsoft Excel background
  • Previous experience building and elevating HR operational processes
  • Project management and change management skills
  • Analytical problem solving skills, with both an eye for detail and out of the box thinking
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Approachable with a team player mindset
  • Ability to prioritize work and streamline processes
  • A self-starter, who is results driven and able to gain buy-in from others
  • Prior vendor management experience preferred
  • Works collaboratively across all functions and levels of the organization
