About the role

We are hiring a Senior Manager of Diversity Recruiting Programs to build and grow a highly cross-functional and dynamic team so that we can hire talent with diversity at the forefront. As our Senior Manager of Diversity Recruiting Programs, you will work with our growing talent acquisition team, while building out your own, to influence every aspect of how we recruit.

Responsibilities: 

  • Own Wonder DEI talent acquisition programs and activities that will directly impact our diversity hiring metrics with the end goal of creating equal representation at the company 
  • Partner with other recruiting leads at the company to create awareness around our diversity hiring commitments and to activate different recruiting strategies 
  • Recruit and build a passive candidate pipeline of diverse candidates for high priority business and tech roles across all levels
  • In collaboration with People Ops, track and report on demographics, trends and DEI metrics to track progress around diversity hiring and provide recommendations for program changes 
  • Create and implement recruiting related DEI communications, campaigns, and events (conferences, recruiting events, meetups, etc.) 
  • Represent Wonder at external diversity events and network groups to advance our commitment to diversity, equity and community partnerships with the expectation of continuously building our diversity pipelines to be support hiring efforts across the company (business and tech) 
  • Identify and partner with external experts and organizations to maximize the impact of our DEI work across the organization 
  • Support the scaling of our comprehensive unconscious bias training program to make sure that all interviewers are equipped with the skills and tools they need to foster and uphold a fair and equitable interview process 
  • Build and manage a team of sourcers and specialists who will actively work towards continuing to build our diverse pipelines 

The experience you have

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is interested in creating change, passionate about diversity recruiting, and someone who can tackle challenges with a structured and strategic disposition, while also contributing to the day-to-day tactical operations in achieving this goal.  

Qualifications: 

  • 5-7 years of experience actively recruiting with at least 1 year of experience building and implementing effective DEI programs 
  • Proven ability leveraging from data and metrics to measure performance and progress as well as to inform and influence 
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environments welcoming guidance and responding positively to feedback 
  • Experience running events and managing relationships with internal and external partners 
  • At least 1 year managing or coaching others
