Your Role and Responsibilities
Performs the complete staff acquisition process for the hiring and movement of staff and applicants including developing workforce analysis and planning, performing staffing needs analysis, developing job analysis, rating criteria and materials, working with hiring managers to determine requirements and recruitment approaches, adjudicating qualifications and veteran's preference, maintaining applicant registers, and maintaining automated systems in support of staffing, records management, personnel management, and database accountability. Drives staffing process improvements, innovation, and compliance into the operational processes. Will possibly oversee Staffing Specialist Junior and HR Assistants.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledgeable in the end to end federal staffing process for hiring and movement of federal personnel and applicants.
- Maintain records and automated systems for staffing, records management, personnel management, and database accountability.
- Manage junior staff.
- Works under the discretion of the Staffing Specialist Senior and/or other HR managers/supervisors.
- At least 5 years of experience in federal staffing and HR experience.
