The Senior Human Resource Business Partner, Future of Business HR serves as a critical leader within the firm's Business Human Resources (BHR) function. The firm's Business Human Resources function comes to life through a combination of human capital expertise, deep business knowledge, consultancy diagnostic skills and integrator capabilities.

This new leadership role is being added to meet the needs of our evolving business and to be a key contributor to enhancing strategic value contribution of human resources by evolving the way we deliver business collaborating across the firm. This role will be initially focused on shaping the aspirational role of business partnering at EJ by developing future focused role profile for strategic business partnering, defining capabilities for the future and working with COEs and shared services to streamline, standardize and simplify HR service delivery. As this work evolves, the leader will focus on building an adaptable HR business partnering capability to support the ever-changing needs of the business and our firm transformation.

A successful leader in this role will bring capability in continuous improvement, process orientation, change and project management along with significant emotional intelligence and a high degree of influence.

Responsibilities Summary:

  • Enhance Business Human Resources value delivery through shaping and leading a "program of projects " focused on evolving BHR role, capabilities, and work activities, integrated to the firm's HR Transformation Program.
  • Advance flexible model and agile ways of working that meet the changing needs of clients across the firm
  • Serve as influencer and change agent across human resources and in the business
  • With COE partnership, design and execute an end to end capability building program (assessment, development planning, learning methods) for BHR leaders focused on growing needed skills and competencies for the future
  • Translate business and Human Resources needs into priorities for the for the BHR Consulting Team
  • Contribute to and responsible for delivery of the HR business plan
  • Create and maintain metrics regarding effectiveness of central team including focus on effectiveness as well as client satisfaction
  • Create, provide and use data-inspired diagnostics in support of central team, BHR and overall business
  • Build exceptional and trusted partnerships with Human Resources Centers of Excellence and other BHR leaders
  • Share industry and Human Resources insights and best practices within HR community and beyond
  • Attract, retain, develop and drive inclusive and diverse group of Human Resources professionals focused on delivering against the firm's purpose and exceeding the expectations of internal stakeholders

Position Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with ten (10) or more years related Business and/or HR experience
  • Four (4) years or more leadership and transformation experience preferred
  • Advanced degree and senior HR certification highly preferred

  • Proven business acumen with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to develop, build and maintain sound relationships with internal and external stakeholders
