What is the job?

Senior G&A and GTM Recruiter - US Remote

ThoughtSpot is looking for a Senior Recruiter who will serve as a true G&A ("Core") and GTM recruiting SME. You will be working closely with both Core (Finance, HR, Legal) and Go-to-Market (Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Ops, etc.) leadership. We are looking for someone that will be hands-on, carry requisitions, serve as the true talent consultant in all things recruiting, and simply be awesome.   You will be part of a global team of recruiting leads.  Fundamentally you will be responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process—and will be someone who is strategic and hands-on at the same time.

We seek someone who has a big dose of humility, patience for the unpredictable, the ability to tolerate the irreverent, the desire to collaborate with a fun team, an insatiable intellectual curiosity, an eye for details, have a predisposition to dig for information, and follow projects through to the end will all enable your success.

Whether recruiting the next great member of the ThoughtSpot team, building and refining our core programs for talent, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing how talent is identified and delivers brilliance to the business.

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the exemplar of things recruiting including sourcing, identifying, and creating a pipeline of candidates for Core and GTM
  • Partner with executives and hiring managers to thoroughly understand the company's hiring goals and plan effectively.
  • Create and execute a talent acquisition strategy aligned with ThoughtSpot’s business objectives and culture in order to meet aggressive hiring goals.
  • Help define and drive employer branding for the market.
  • Uses a multi-pronged early-bird strategy to get the best, first.
  • Be joined at the hip and aligned with business management and understand ThoughtSpot's business strategy and goals.
  • Evaluate skill level and manage the offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations and offer acceptance/declines.
  • Improve the candidate, new hire, hiring manager, and recruiter experience.
  • Focus on proactive sourcing (e.g. social networking, internet research, cold calling, regular networking at events & conferences).
  • Assure that we are hiring to clear competency models by position and that we are hiring individuals who are a fit with the ThoughtSpot culture.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting and sourcing techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
  • Leverage innovative and social networking sourcing techniques to identify passive candidates and to build a pipeline of candidates based on the needs of the business.
  • Determine the strategy, and then develop relationships with appropriate recruiting sources.
  • Create innovative and engaging job postings for open positions that reflect the position parameters, the defined competency models, and the company culture, to attract the best-qualified candidates.
  • Develop a behavioral interviewing methodology and interview procedure; and deliver hiring manager training to ensure effective, legal interviewing practices.
  • Maintain necessary documentation using an ATS.
  • Keep your candidates in the loop. This goes a long way to build your credibility and keep your candidates either coming back to you or sending referrals to you.
  • Provide reporting support, schedule interviews, coordinate and attend university recruiting campus events where necessary
  • A true ThoughtSpot brand ambassador and can demonstrate Selfless Excellence.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience, sourcing, cold-calling, driving staff build-ups within a high volume, hard-to-fill environment, in a technology-based organization.
  • Proven experience leading searches for G&A and GTM for cutting edge tech companies (ideally SaaS)
  • An expert inside and outside the company. Knows all about it: competitors, key players, technology, stories, history. Highly regarded.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing high-volume recruitment processes.
  • A trusted advisor, coach. Key resource. Leads decision process.
  • Finds keeps & closes the best. Sought out, advisor. Exceptional.
  • Considered an expert in the field. Trains others. Seeks out new tools.
  • Ability to be a consultant to executives while rolling up sleeves to do detailed tasks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the GTM talent market.
  • Optimizes sourcing plans based on the latest tools. A leader in the field.
  • Has it all and trains, coaches others. Maximizes results.
  • Great sense of humor.
  • Driven by delighting, yet data-driven.
  • Sought after by Hiring Managers due to the ability to find and recruit A-level players.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Be a leader that people want to follow...helping colleagues be the best that they can be.
  • Exceptional customer service focus combined with exemplary follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with no hesitation of cold calling, networking, and public speaking. Ability to initiate action and accomplish goals across a wide range of teams and projects in the face of multiple demands.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills, with the ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver regular updates and feedback clearly and tactfully.
  • Demonstrated team player who possesses leadership skills, acts with integrity and self-awareness, avoids unethical shortcuts, and respects and values intelligence and diversity.
