Senior Director, Talent Acquisition Operations

We are currently looking for an Executive to lead all of Talent Acquisition Operations. This position will lead all facets of TA Operations to include TA systems, tools, analytics, reporting, candidate experience, recruiting coordination, process improvement, and employment brand marketing. The Senior Director, TA Operations will be responsible for all aspects of building an enterprise-wide TA Ops strategy and supporting all aspects of Chewy’s TA hiring strategy. This role drives strategy and execution that supports and benefits Headquarters, Fulfillment, and Customer Service. The selected leader will demonstrate advanced capability in designing a TA Ops strategy, developing leaders, building, and managing relationships with senior stakeholders, building, leading, and inspiring a recruiting team, and achieving headcount targets and all KPIs. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of leading TA Ops in a hyper growth and/or transformational environment building systemic solutions that support enterprise growth and drive greater automation and innovation to enable speed and growth. This role requires high passion and prior success in maturing a TA organization to scale.
What you'll do:
- Set vision, direction, and priorities through the development and execution of a strategic TA ops roadmap
- Lead, develop and manage a team of Operations leaders and staff to drive high quality enterprise solutions at scale
- Build programs that improve the efficiency in which TA hires internal and external talent
- Provide strategic guidance to our Brand Marketing Leader and execute employment marketing plans to drive up candidate flow for targeted positions
- Create, teach, and foster diversity and inclusion best practices in all aspects of selection, assessment, and hiring
- Build analytical solutions to better manage headcount plans, progress to hiring goals, and all operational metrics
- Lead experiments that drive efficiency and scale
- Utilize analytical thinking to diagnose business challenges and identify hiring trends
- Build repeatable, programmatic solutions to operational processes
- Manage two to three large-scale projects that impact the enterprise as we optimize the talent acquisition operating mode
What you'll need:
- At least 10+ years of experience within Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced, changing environment
- At least 5 years of experience of leading recruiting operations teams, owning and executing on HR/TA/Business transformation efforts
- Proven track record of building systems, processes and functions from scratch while utilizing a data-driven approach
- Experience with all aspects of headcount planning, setting, and inspecting KPIs, and hiring delivery
- Experience leading hiring in a hyper growth environment with 500+ hires/year or more, or 25-30%+ annual headcount growth
- At least 3+ years of experience regularly interfacing and communicating with executive leaders up to the C-suite
- Experience as a leader of leaders
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong analytical skills: ability to gather, analyze, summarize, and present data
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; Experience interacting with senior leadership
- Adept at working in a cross-functional organization with demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams across the organization
- A strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
