The Calling:

We're building our People Operations team from the ground up and are looking for flexible, boundary-less, and out-of-the-box thinkers. You'll be an integral part of the team and a collaborator in how we build our employee experience & culture value to our Branchers.

What You Will Achieve:

  • Architect of POps defaults (policies & procedures), retention hacks, compliance analysis, and risk assessments
  • Assist in the design of interactive non-traditional performance feedback strategy and engagement
  • Assist in the crafting of compensation philosophy that best meets the needs of current and future Branchers - fair, competitive, engaging, and meaningful, inclusive of maintenance of equity & compensation systems and HRIS
  • Own and refine onboarding experience inclusive of announcements, in partnership with team lead to ensure new hire success
  • Partner in leading internal talent engagement programs to gauge and formulate career development plans that are equitable & inclusive
  • Take lead of Benefits & Wellbeing Strategy inclusive of how it informs and shapes total compensation that is equitable
  • Continuous improvement of compensation & benefits modeling to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as DEI commitments
  • Apply development-focused strategies to assist Branchers through conflict and build better connections
  • Stear and foster candid feedback culture that encourages people positive environment for Branchers to express themselves
  • Create connectedness between remote workforce, working cross-functionally with many different groups, bringing them together
  • Re-envision value recognition programs and create a strategy to drive the right behaviors, celebrate our best and brightest, and enhance engagement
  • Lead and manage internal annual engagement and pulse surveys, work with outside vendors, and ensure teams & committees have access to insights that inform positive change and assist with reporting as needed
  • Create and implement an open door exit program for Branchers leaving the organization - we want to support everyone's journey, even if it isn't with Branching Minds
  • Keep Branching Minds authentic and ethical in all the compliance areas, including WCI, LOAs, ADA, and all those other acronyms
  • Partner with Organizational Design and DEI Committees on change, improvement, and innovation initiatives
  • Grow and maintain relationships with key business functions including Talent Engagement with regular check-ins and strategic sessions to integrate social impact in the Brancher experience.
  • Use data to measure success: learn, iterate, and improve; analyze trends and develop proactive actions to further support business objectives
  • Provide VP, People Operations recommendations on pay, benefits, defaults (policies & standards), and growth plans and initiatives that aid the Brancher Experience and Culture Value goals



Requirements

Why We Want You:

  • SME level experience in key functional areas of Human Resources with at least a decade of comprehensive work experience
  • Have multi-location and business unit Human Resources as well as People Operations experience - with a keen understanding of what breaks the employee experience
  • SHRM or HRCI Certified in all the HR-101 areas

  • Have ability to see situations from multiple perspectives and adapt approach based on needs of situation and people involved
  • Passionate about creating a value-add culture to ensure an exceptional employee experience - with DEI always in mind

  • Have a growth mindset and engage in transparent and candid conversations with all to ensure continuous improvement of the Brancher experience
  • Are empathetic and have a strong pulse on organizational challenges, strains, and needs because you can understand and see from diverse perspectives

  • Love data and can tell a story to diverse audiences to gain buy-in and collaboration

  • Have worked in K-12 education and have an understanding of our customer needs

  • Base annual compensation for this role is $90,000 - $102,000 based on experience and expertise
