What is the job?
ThoughtSpot is looking for a seasoned, Senior Contract Sales Recruiter. You will work within a small team and report to your Head of Global Talent Acquisition, you will own Go-to-Market (GTM) recruiting on a global basis (including sales, presales, sales operations, services, and support). You will be responsible for ensuring all external and internal GTM recruiting fulfills organizational needs.
You will work with senior stakeholders (hiring managers and executive leaders) to plan and implement recruiting projects to ensure that ThoughtSpot hires the best external talent. You will be aware of key recruiting metrics while ensuring that key talent is delivered when and where it’s needed. Ideally, you should be a master of direct sourcing.

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing Candidates
- Develops and executes on candidate sourcing strategies and builds a pipeline at all levels, including directly sourcing candidates in line with talent demands
- Proactively uses recruiting technology and processes to source candidates
- Proactively identifies and recruits passive job seekers
Qualifying and Pre-Screening Candidates
- Follows a consistent process and best practice for selecting the highest quality candidates
- Effectively represents and markets ThoughtSpot’s employment brand, the organization's business objectives, and career options to potential candidates
- Readily identifies and addresses candidate objections
- Uses advanced communication probing techniques to elicit information
- Follows through on all issues to closing
- Identifies and anticipates candidates’ needs
- Summarizes each candidate's strengths, weaknesses, and motivators
- Delivers rejection to a candidate in an honest, sensitive, and professional manner
Managing the Candidate & the Offer
- Provides appropriate support and advice to each candidate and is professional throughout the offer process
- Manages each candidate throughout the entire recruiting life-cycle
- Collaborates with hiring managers to create and deliver a comprehensive, compelling, and balanced offer
- Differentiates ThoughtSpot’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) from other competing offers
- Delivers highly persuasive communications with high potential candidates using all effective mediums
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Serves as the primary point of contact for GTM recruiting and as a true advisor
- Craft and negotiate compensation packages for candidates who are being considered for senior/executive-level positions
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of related business experience with at least 5+ years of SaaS sales recruiting experience.
- Strong experience in senior-level resourcing, selection, and recruiting
- Executive presence with a demonstrable track record of building and maintaining partnerships with our Sales leadership team.
- Previous in-house executive recruiting experience is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of applicant tracking systems and other in-house databases
- High level of awareness of the need for data integrity
- High self-awareness, coach-ability, resilience, and intelligence
- Open to working flexible hours this position will demand
- Kind, nice, and a sense of humor
- Understanding the fast-paced nature of recruiting and working with a sense of urgency
Preferred Skills
- Proven senior-level relationship management and development skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and complex organization
- The ability to provide mentoring & coaching throughout the Talent Acquisition team, lead Talent Acquisition projects based on business needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Proven capability to source from low cost/ direct channels
- The gravitas and ability to consult, influence, and advise at senior levels sales talent
- A mature, positive, deliberate, and focused attitude
