As the Senior Business Analyst, Talent Acquisition, you will help build, execute, and measure success for Talent Acquisition strategy and initiatives using data and market intelligence to help leadership make key decisions. Your work will directly inform the development and refinement of the strategic roadmap for Talent Acquisition. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Collaborate directly with senior leaders to proactively inspect recruiting processes and provide insights based on data and research that will increase recruiting efficiency, candidate experience, and XPO's overall ability to hire top talent
  • Scan and monitor market and competitor activity and trends to identify best practices and drive process and tool decisions inside TA
  • Track and optimize use of currently available recruiting tools such as CMS, Texting, ATS and pre hire assessment platforms
  • In consultation with Employment Branding, track and consult on how TA can more fully adopt and leverage external sourcing and job board platforms and liaise directly with external partners on same
  • Develop customized analytical reports/dashboards and presentations to show analysis and insights in front of influential audiences in a way that efficiently and effectively informs on themes that will drive business decisions
  • Directly assist SVP on presentations and reports that have C Suite exposure
  • Provide analysis and insights of labor market trends/forecasts, internal Talent Acquisition surveys, Recruiter scorecards, and regular reporting on Recruitment Performance
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting to support evolving business needs, time sensitive data requests to inform recruiting operations, insights to inform strategic initiatives and support quarterly business reviews
  • Conduct internal audits on all facets of Recruiting operations to ensure we are exceeding all commitments to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct data analysis to support needs of the recruiting leadership team as we seek to increase the volume and quality of hiring for our business teams


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of Recruiting, Recruiting leadership, TA process improvement or program management experience
  • Experience in a Business Analyst, Project Management, or similar role
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint


It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent partnership skills and the ability to seamless navigate the needs of multiple internal stakeholders
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience with pre hire assessment platforms
