About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for building our recruiting operations practice from the ground up.  This is a unique opportunity to play a major part in shaping our recruiting function and ensuring we are set up appropriately to double the size of GlossGenius in the next 12 months.  As an early member of the team, you will help lay the foundations for our Talent Acquisition team and you will work in partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition and the cross functional stakeholders to set and execute the strategy for recruiting operational excellence at scale.

You will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and can be based remotely in the US or Canada.

What you’ll do

• Manage all recruiting systems & vendors including ROI, implementation, optimization and  configuration
• Develop and and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience strategy
• Provide training and change management to the Recruiting team, hiring managers, and stakeholders including but not limited to interviewer training, new hiring manager training, recruiter on-boarding, and more
• Serve as the main point of contact for the Recruiting team by assisting on technical inquiries regarding our recruiting tech stack
• Manage analysis and reporting of key recruiting metrics, including candidate pipeline reports, headcount forecasts and tracking, sourcing channel effectiveness, and monthly operational updates
• Leverage core recruiting tools including Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Handshake, Welcome and more to understand recruiting health and implement necessary improvements
• Execute campus recruiting and networking events strategy, including overseeing university recruiting and assisting in the development of college internship programs
• Manage and develop employer branding initiatives, including partnering with our Marketing team, to drive inbound applicant pipeline and high passive candidate sourcing response rates

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in a Recruiting or People Operations role, with at least 2 years of experience in recruiting operations/systems
• Advanced experience with recruiting systems, technology and other tools (we use Greenhouse as our current ATS and Workday as our current HRIS) 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to translate data into insights and actions
• Experience building and scaling programs in a high-growth, rapidly adapting, international environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working autonomously, and navigate ambiguity with ease
