Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  2. Source potential candidates from various online channels (i.e. Social media and professional platforms)
  3. Identifies and implements successful recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  4. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  5. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  6. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  7. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  8. Collaborates with department leaders on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs.
  9. Analyzes recruitment and attrition data to maximize employee retention.
  10. Facilitates New Employee Orientation.
  11. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  12. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, recruitment, talent management, and employment law.
  13. Maintains a positive and caring atmosphere for members and employees consistent with the Credit Union's mission and philosophy.
  14. Maintains the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.
  15. Understands and agrees to abide by the policies and procedures established by Sandia Area Federal Credit Union and federal and state legal and regulatory guidelines, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA} and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC}, as applicable to this position.
  16. Performs additional duties as assigned.



Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, 3 to 5 years directly related HR experience, or combination of education or experience.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification a plus.
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
