Overview

Position is located in the Wilmington, NC market and offers a Hybrid/Remote option with 2-3 days on site per week. Prefer candidates with Healthcare Recruiting experience.

The Recruiter's primary responsibilities are to attract, source, and hire diverse talent that reflects the communities that Novant Health serves. The Recruiter's will support recruiting efforts for Novant Health facilities in the Greater Wilmington area, including recruitment activities, career events, campus recruiting, and interacting with leaders and team members throughout the Wilmington market. To succeed, the Recruiter must be highly effective in recruitment to maintain candidate satisfaction, engage with market operational leaders, and can communicate with all key players in the processes. This position will participate in varying degrees in recruitment operations, sourcing, strategic consulting, executive recruitment, workforce planning, candidate experience, and other areas as needed.

The Recruiter will play an important role with onboarding and developing team members. The Recruiter will conduct and deliver appropriate team member training on processes, policies, and sourcing methods and act as a mentor for new team members. The Recruiter will assist the Manager, Talent Acquisition-Wilmington Market to communicate with and provide service to senior executives and provide valuable insight of market facilities to specialty Recruiters. Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field Required.
  • Experience: 3 years' experience in Corporate or executive recruiting including recruitment or recruitment support or human resources Required.
  • Additional skills required:
    • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant current local, federal, as well as state regulatory and governing standards for recruitment.
    • Proven experience as a recruiter hiring qualified individuals from a wide variety of diverse demographics.
    • Demonstrated success effectively leading a team, motivating and coaching, building rapport, building and maintaining effective and professional working relationships. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects set service level agreements and meets and exceed customer expectations.
    • Ability to influence, negotiate, effectively listen, research and resolve issues, problem solve and resolve conflict remaining respectful and neutral in decision-making.
    • Speed to Market: Effectively works in a fast-paced work environment to deliver results.
    • World Class: Knowledgeable about HR best practices and future trends in healthcare and in industry.
    • Problem Solving: Strong creative problem-solving skills.
    • Digital Fluency: Proficiency with iCIMS or similar ATS, Microsoft Office 365, etc.
    • Highly Effective Communicator: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, appropriately and inclusively with key stakeholders at all levels.

    • Judgment: Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results.
