Why should you join the Talent Acquisition team?
World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Recruiter within our Talent Acquisition team. This position will be focused on souring and delivering top talent for primarily client executives, account managers, presales engineers, project managers, delivery/ implementation engineers, and solution architects.
Based in St. Louis, WWT works closely with industry leaders such as Cisco, HPE, Dell EMC, NetApp, VMware and F5, focusing on three market segments: Fortune 500 companies, service providers and the public sector. WWT employs more than 7000 people and operates in more than 4 million square feet of state-of-the-art warehousing, distribution and integration space strategically located throughout the world.
This is a remote opportunity, with the location preference of St. Louis, MO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with the company's overall recruiting efforts, which include on-site recruiting, internet recruiting, working with temporary agencies, and employee referrals.
- Coordinates and conducts new hire on boarding.
- Recruiting for WWT's Information Technology and Application Services Teams which includes, sales, management, engineering, project management, and other positions throughout the company.
- Posts jobs online, screens, organizes, and tracks all applications and resumes within company's applicant tracking tool.
- Coordinates and conducts interviews with hiring managers.
- Coordinates with temporary agencies to staff open positions.
- Understand company's policies and benefits.
- Advisory role to managers and supervisors regarding employee issues.
- Reviews and pre-qualifies potential candidates
- Post jobs on various external job boards, social media, user groups, universities, etc.
- Proactively research and evaluate new sourcing ideas and methods to create innovative sourcing strategies
- Develop passive candidate pipelines through name generation, networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research
- Develop a network of business and candidate contacts
- Establish and maintain relationships with active and passive candidates for current or future openings
- Effectively communicate with executive management, hiring managers, and other internal staff to determine and meet staffing needs
- Miscellaneous projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in IT Recruiting is strongly preferred
- Considerable industry experience sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates is preferred
- Expertise in the core principles, practices and procedures related to recruiting and staffing
- Experience with contract negotiations
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience with internal ATS and VMS applications preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skill
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
