As a Recruiter on our Emerging Careers team, you will assist with the execution of Coursera’s internship and Emerging Careers programs. You will partner with talent researchers, recruiters, business leaders, and other Courserians to execute strategies for building diverse pipelines of interns and emerging career candidates that represent our global community of learners. You will engage, inspire, and nurture relationships with emerging talent communities through innovative sourcing strategies, creative outreach messaging, event planning and execution, and partnering with relevant community organizations.

Job Overview

  • Lead the full cycle entry-level recruiting process for technical and business teams including resume reviews, interviews, offer approvals, offer extensions, onboarding, etc.
  • Provide excellent candidate experience throughout the interview process from initial outreach to selection process.
  • Develop strong relationships with candidates, hiring teams, universities, and partner organizations.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in university/campus recruiting
  • Proven ability to create and execute university recruiting strategies that focus on emerging tech and engineering talent
  • Excellent communicator and team player, who builds relationships and manages stakeholder expectations
  • Self-motivated - someone who’s comfortable managing through ambiguity to define clear road maps and processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience building partnerships with DEI organizations
  • Experience sourcing and engaging both tech and non-tech talent
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (vlookup, pivot tables, functions)
  • Attention to detail - highly diligent, and focused on results and driving ideas/projects to completion
