Recruiter (Austin, Texas or US remote)


At Katana Graph, we’re building a graph computing system and storage engine that
accelerates graph database, analytics, mining, and AI workloads and interoperates
with industry-standard storage systems. Our technology sets a new bar as the
world’s fastest graph processing engine while providing compelling scalability and
programmability advantages and low-latency data ingest and ingress.

 

The Role


We’re looking for a talented Recruiter to join Katana Graph as we continue to grow!
This is a full lifecycle position that includes everything from sourcing through to
closing responsibilities. The Recruiter is responsible for utilizing creative sourcing
and closing techniques to identify high-quality candidates and fill our open
positions. This position establishes and maintains strong partnerships with key
functional leaders and hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies
that flow successfully into business objectives.


About The Team


A Recruiter will work in a close partnership with hiring managers, the HR team, as
well as with the Global recruitment team and will have a tremendous impact on the
growth of the Katana Graph engineering site. The goal is to attract and hire top-tier
quality talent who share our values and want to be part of Katana Graph’s journey
to the next level, one employee at a time.
Location: Remote in the US


Your Daily Adventures Will Include


Working with hiring managers to refine job requirements effectively
marketing to top talent
Partnering to drive recruiting process and move forward in a timely and
efficient manner
Driving innovative sourcing and closing strategies to access and hire top
talent
Developing a consistent talent pipeline that can be quickly accessed and
engaged
Building channels to drive candidate pipeline including social media and
attending events

Understanding of relocation and immigration policies for international

candidates
Working closely specifically with the Business Managers to execute an
impactful recruiting strategy to engage and evaluate talented candidates for
their organizations
Liaising closely with internal functions to ensure a smooth hiring process
including recruiters, recruiting management, and people operations
Reporting on a weekly basis key stats around the pipeline, source of hire, and
offer/accept rates
Working towards tight monthly and quarterly deadlines and alert to any
issues that may surface in meeting those goals
Collaborating with hiring managers to consistently bring our DEI strategy into
the recruiting process

Experience with full-cycle recruiting in a technical environment
Ability to work independently, across time zones and disciplines
Experienced in partnership with external partners who provide immigration
and relocation support for the international candidates
Demonstrated successful recruiting in a high-growth environment
Experienced in identifying, developing, and maintaining pipelines of potential
passive candidates on an ongoing basis
Ability to maintain continuous communication with candidates throughout the
interview lifecycle, with a focus on candidate experience throughout the
entire process
Experienced working with an ATS for tracking requisitions/candidates and
meeting SLAs
Demonstrated success leveraging social media platforms to build candidate
pipeline
Ability to manage requisitions across multiple departments simultaneously
while delivering talent within tight deadlines
Ability to prioritize and adjust to business needs

Accustomed to driving hiring results in a data-driven environment, producing

metrics weekly
Experience in owning the recruiting process for an open requisition from start
to finish including working with the hiring manager to create a
comprehensive interview plan for phone and onsite meetings
A proven quantifiable track record of closing high-level quality technical
candidates with strong retention rates
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, communications, or
related field
Knowledge of and experience with behavioral interview techniques is a plus
Ability to influence and advise hiring managers on correct hiring strategies
Ability to improve and streamline current processes and procedures to drive
maximum efficiencies
Greenhouse, ATS experience
Startup experience
