Principal Technical Recruiter

We're looking to hire a Principal Technical Recruiter to help us scale our rapidly growing team. Reporting into our Director of Talent & People Operations, you'll help shape the future of recruiting at Misfits and raise the bar with each hire we bring on. You will partner with our technology teams' hiring managers, strategize the technical recruiting process, and manage candidates through application/sourcing through offer negotiation. This is an outstanding role for an ambitious recruiting professional who wants to make an outsize impact at a hypergrowth-stage company.You will:
- Build strong trusted advisor relationships with hiring managers and leadership, providing ongoing best-practice, specialized advice regarding talent acquisition practices and ensuring compliance within team and general organization
- Be the subject matter expert of technical recruiting for engineering, quality assurance, IT, product, data science, business intelligence teams, plus other teams as necessary
- Own full cycle recruiting for technical roles; review, evaluate, and screen mid to senior level corporate positions through intake meeting to offer stage
- Leverage networking, social media, direct sourcing techniques, alumni organizations and professional sites to source candidates in different arenas, as well as other use specialized knowledge in creative sourcing strategies
- Manage candidates through our ATS, Greenhouse
- Partner with Talent Team to design and implement the MM Employer Branding strategy as it related to technology teams, positioning us as an amazing place to work
- Partner closely with People Operations to continue to enhance the new hire on-boarding experience ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and helpful process that sets new hires up for Day 1 success.
- Mentor other members of the team in terms of best practices and sourcing strategies
You have:
- 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting, specialized in technology recruiting (engineering, product, data science, business intelligence etc)
- Experience scaling early-stage companies to 2-3x
- Strong business acumen and experience hiring for both technical, business, and creative teams
- Experience building a mission-driven employer brand and value proposition
- Passion for the candidate experience and are striving to constantly improve it
- A data-driven driven approach to recruiting, using metrics to analyze and improve your team's recruiting pipeline
- A network that's plugged into the latest talent acquisition strategies and trends
- Ability to easily work within different domain areas (technical, creative, business) to build a diverse team
- Enthusiasm for the Misfits mission
- A keen judge of character, with the ability to ferret out potential and talent in nontraditional candidates
