As the Principal Recruiter, you will be responsible for attract the world class talent in North America. This position reports to the Manager of Talent Acquisition and works cross-functionally across p44. We are looking for someone who is excited by growth and passionate about technology.
What you're looking to do next:
- Ensure project44 hires the best talent in the industry, quickly and efficiently
- Support multiple business lines and scale multiple business lines and scale hiring in North America
- Effectively interprets own and immediate teams metrics analytics to build process improvements (e.g. high conversion ratios)
- You are the go-to person who will advise hiring teams and build the recruitment strategy to deliver an outstanding recruitment experience
- Builds an inclusive and objective hiring process and ensures that candidate is assessed against the appropriate competencies
- Source Candidates via:
- LinkedIn Outreach
- Networking Events (BuiltIn Chicago, Meetups, etc.)
- Job Postings (Indeed, GitHub, StackOverflow, etc.)
- Personal Network
- Screen candidates and lead them through interview process
- Coordinating with project44 leadership on event attendance and employer branding
- Work in our ATS (Greenhouse) to improve visibility and automation in recruiting process
- Partner with hiring managers and project44 leadership to ensure recruiting needs are met
The Experience you have:
- Experience recruiting the top 1% of talent in North America
- 8+ years of experience in recruiting
- Experience interpreting data and using it to influence hiring decisions
- Experience with Greenhouse or other ATS
- Established network and expertise in Chicago startup tech community
- Ability and willingness to organize, host, and attend networking events
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to rapidly develop and cultivate relationships with peers, partners, and key influencers
- Confident, aggressive, and metrics driven in your approach to recruitment
- Ability to work independently and perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
- Ability to see all tasks through to completion with a high attention to detail
