About the Role

The People Success Operations Coordinator position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, ability to problem solve, maintain confidentiality, and the facility to execute on human resources processes. The People Success Operations Coordinator assists in the day-to-day operations and provides comprehensive support to the daily operation of the People Success department in areas including, but not limited to, records management, HRIS/systems, onboarding, and administration. This role helps ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and City laws/ordinances; provides information and assistance to employees regarding human resources activities, processes, policies, and procedures and delivers customer-focused and support services.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and assist with the new hire process, which includes assisting and ensuring new hires complete the on-boarding process in Workday accurately and timely. This will also include policy acknowledgements and additional on-boarding tasks assigned to new hires in Workday
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information; including, but not limited to the collection of new hire paperwork, compensation, personal data, and sensitive employee matters
  • Support employee life-cycle transactions
  • Perform regular audits between Workday and ADP to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Process one-time payment requests through Payroll
  • Assist with administration of annual background checks and reporting
  • Maintain personnel files
  • Be the face of the People Success department, answering tier one employee questions with a focus on customer service and maintaining a positive and supportive attitude
  • Responds to inquiries from employees and external parties; processes employment information/verification
  • All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned



About You

  • A basic understanding of HR processes
  • Ability to handle confidential data and maintain confidentiality
  • Experience working with Workday, ADP or another HRIS system is preferred
  • Extremely well organized
  • Proactive with excellent follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BA and 1-2 years of experience in Administration or HR
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office
