HR Compliance Associate Specialist

BigCommerce, named a "Best Place to Work" in Austin in 2022 is looking for a HR Services Associate Specialist who is an ambitious, technically savvy, problem-solving, organized individual to support our human resources efforts in the areas of international expansion, vendor contract management, compliance, SOX and ISO audits.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and organize formal external SOX and ISO audit requests. Assign HR function stakeholders to provide appropriate answers. Collect information submissions to integrate responses appropriately.
- Review recommendations with HR VP and Sr. Manager, People Services for approval.
- Create and deploy audit tracker to ensure internal team audit cadence is executed for compliance.
- Ensure the People Services team members are performing onboarding, promos/transfer audits regularly audits as scheduled cadence
- Respond and manage the audit requests from internal and external teams and ensure the adherence to HR SOX related data and processes.
- Work closely with the broader HR team to continually confirm and audit successful adherence to internal processes and procedures
- Perform employee separation audits
- Ensure all stakeholders are current on employment based compliance trends; update HR policies as needed.
- Maintain HR vendor contracts consolidated contract information and library to monitor upcoming contract expirations to notify stakeholders to appropriately act for renewals. Ensure accurate document versioning and electronic storage of current and expired contracts.
- Assist with projects as needed to include thought partnership, training, research, and other contributions that support the business.
- Point of contact for legal and audit team requests for the HR team.
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are
- 3+ years HR Audit, HR Administration or HR Operations experience
- HR audit experience, including SOX and ISO audits preferred
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Google Workspace products, Sheets-wizardry required
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and analytical
