Who We Want
Our explosive growth is your opportunity to start or accelerate your career in a high-impact coordinator role on our People Operations team. We’re looking for candidates willing to go above and beyond to deliver the results, service and experience customers have come to expect from Arrive, so you’ll thrive in this position if you’re a are a go-getter, have a strong desire to learn the different functions of people operations, and are ready to undertaker a variety of administrative duties.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the department documents and other sensitive and confidential employee related information.
- Organize all People Pulse processes, leading employees through development conversations, building rapport, gathering feedback and sharing information with managers and People Operations.
- Assists with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues.
- Assists with creating and implementing employee engagement events.
- Assists with internal audit and legal compliance requests as needed.
- Partner with Senior People Operations Specialist and other members of the employee relations team as needed for projects and annual initiatives like performance reviews, engagement surveys, etc.
- Maintains and updates Workday and Docusign, including employee personnel files, as needed.
- Draft, facilitate and follow up on disciplinary actions, including performance plans, employee warnings, and terminations.
- Serve as a point of contact for questions about benefits, HR policies, PTO requests, team updates, pay stub access, login support and any other questions that arise.
- Create, distribute, track and process offer letters for position and compensation changes.
- Effectively support leave of absence and FMLA/ADA circumstances
- Support involuntary and voluntary exit processes
- Partner with recruitment and onboarding teams to maintain and enhance our new hire orientation and onboarding experience.
- Proactively identifies process inefficiencies and inconsistencies; collaborates on process improvements that enhance the employee’s and / or manager’s experience.
- Maintains strict confidentiality regarding benefits, payroll, and human resource matters.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (business, communications, or human resources preferred).
- A minimum of 1 year working in human resources, recruiting, or other similar positions.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to focus on a single project from start to finish.
- Strong desire to learn all aspects of HR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, with the ability to read and design complex spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and become proficient in new software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to research, locate, retrieve, file, and maintain network and application documents in a highly organized, disciplined manner.
- Knowledge of and / or proficiency with HRIS systems. Workday experience is highly desired.
