About the Role and Your Impact

As a member of the People team and reporting to the People Operations Generalist, you’ll support People team strategies, operations, systems, transitions, and employee engagement activities/programs throughout the organization. You will also support special projects alongside the People team and other key stakeholders as necessary.

You bring strong attention to detail and the ability to think strategically about how details shape the bigger picture. No task is too small and your ability to apply sound judgement helps build system and team integrity. What You’ll Do

  • Act as an initial point of contact and provide excellent customer service for a wide range of questions covering topics like benefits, visa coordination, onboarding, and processing transactions in the HR systems
  • Manage all employee data from inputting new hires into the HRIS, entering employee changes, employee transactions, completing employment verifications, administering workers compensation and unemployment claims, and maintaining employee files
  • Responsible for full scope of of accurate and timely semi-monthly, multi-state payroll processing and off-cycle bonuses, incentives, etc. for the company (in partnership with our managed payroll vendor)
  • Coordinate scheduling and remote onboarding logistics with People and IT teams
  • Uphold company compliance with federal and state new-employee forms and regulations
  • Assist with compliance training sessions and tracking completion
  • Own the hygiene of people's data on HRIS, by regularly auditing the data, preparing reports, and proposing business process improvements
  • Identify areas of improvement and automation opportunities
  • Play a supporting role in project management efforts for enterprise-wide People initiatives, including performance management, onboarding, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and talent planning.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1-2+ years of HR or related experience (bonus if you have payroll or benefits knowledge!)
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines + thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Must understand and demonstrate highest levels of confidentiality and privacy
  • Openness to learn and grow within the People function and specialty
