About You

As a member of the People Team at BetterCloud you will have the unique opportunity to build a thoughtful and data-driven approach to how we support all employees and continuously innovate and scale how we operate all in service of being a high performing culture.  At any given point in the day this role can be presenting insights on our people data to working on our benefits plan and audits, being agile is key. 

​​The ideal candidate is self-motivated, collaborative, adept at navigating interpersonal relationships, and quantitatively and qualitatively analytical. You believe in getting your hands dirty, and that no task is too small if it’s in service of the broader outcome. You thrive in ambiguity and act as a strong operator with a service mentality. At the root of it, you care deeply for people and their experience at work. 

In addition to the above, we’re looking for experience in:

  • At least 4 years experience in an HR Operations role with core analytics and data analysis responsibility. 
  • Current on HR Technology trends and data analytics 
  • Familiarity with US HR compliance regulations
  • Proven success in distilling actionable insights from people data
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Proven track record prioritizing and building programs, change management, and project management.
  • Excellent tools to manage/analyze data ( Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and any business intelligence visualization tool)l; including ability to run advanced formulas and functions.

What You’ll Do 

  • Proposing, implementing, and iterating on people programs, processes,  policies, or procedures to optimize our workforce strategy and our organizational effectiveness 
  • Develop a system of metrics to understand, track, and predict employee engagement. 
  • Create short and long-term goals and objectives for HR system builds, operations, processes, workflows, data flows, and data analytics
  • Ensure seamless data sharing from single sources of truth to external systems such as payroll, benefits, recruitment and other people software
  • Understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions on key focus areas such as engagement, retention and DEI&B. 
  • Ability to translate data and insights into meaningful visualizations, presentations, and stories to drive strategy, action, and decision-making at executive levels, within the People Team, and with our people managers.
  • Own the employee survey process with a focus on sharing/consulting on the methods and resulting data with our People Partners and key business leaders
