Overview

The People & Culture Coordinator provides project coordination and orchestration of strategic people and culture initiatives to support the HR Executive Team and the organization. This position will execute and monitor strategic initiatives, enable and support exceptional change management, and communicate effectively to drive HR transformation, operational enhancements, and strategic improvements. Reporting to the HR Executive Team, this position requires a blend of strong consultative and critical thinking skills with keen knowledge of project management best practices. This position may specialize in talent acquisition, total rewards, strategic initiatives, solutions center operations, new hire onboarding, leadership development, student programs, or engagement and retention. Ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates visible momentum.

The HR Coordinator may be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and administration of the processes for observations, non-clinical internships, and clinical rotation education experiences. Works closely with colleges, universities and school systems to understand program requirements and manage relationships. A creative individual who has experience in coordinating a variety of learning experiences and support resources. Must be adept at managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously while supporting the continued growth of learning and development's student programs and workforce development.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, required. Graduate degree, preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of the following experience is required- project management with an emphasis on budget management, board preparation, merger and acquisitions. Budget Management, related healthcare industry, communications, and/or human resources experience required; experience may include coordinating large-scale, enterprise-wide projects. Artificial Intelligence, IT experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: PMP Project Management Certification, preferred.
  • Additional skills required:
    • Advanced experience with MSOffice, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
    • Proficient with one or more of the following tools, iCIMS, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, Infor, PowerBi, Tableau.
    • Experience preparing and analyzing budget data with attention to accurate data and calculations.
    • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with a view of inclusion and belonging.
    • Analytical, consulting, organizational, and strategic thinking skills are required.
    • Action oriented, willing to do what is needed in order to move projects forward in an organized manner with consistent execution.
    • Strong digital fluency.
    • Relationship management skills that include listening and consultative abilities, as well as the ability to establish credible relationships with business partners to drive change.
    • Experience managing highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Additional skills preferred:

    • Intellectual depth, moral integrity, personal vision, creativity, leadership skills, fortitude, sincerity and diplomacy.
    • Ability to work independently and as a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside of Novant Health.
    • Bilingual in Spanish / English.
