As Liftoff+Vungle's Senior HR Business Partner for our R&D teams, you will be a part of the People team and report to the Director, People Business Partners. By building trusted partnerships, working closely with managers, and being a key employee point of contact, you'll bring together your people expertise with knowledge of our business in order to deliver people strategies that help support and develop our tech talent along their journey at Liftoff.

In your day-to-day, you will:
- Build close partnerships with and advise senior tech leaders to help solve business challenges and align people strategy with business goals
- Leverage your experience in organizational design, building high performing teams, and navigating difficult conversations to coach managers and leaders through the full range of the employee journey
- Collaborate with other People team members to promote thoughtful people solutions that power an agile, innovative, collaborative, high-performing, and employee-oriented culture
- Advocate for R&D-specific needs and teams’ engagement roadmap priorities
- Champion and steward the culture of our tech teams by ensuring their perspectives are heard
- Use people-related data to drive decision-making and to measure employee performance, satisfaction, engagement, and retention
- Ensure our core values are woven into the fabric of our organization and nurture a positive company culture through your partnerships. This includes communicating behavioral guidelines and expectations, enabling productive team interactions, collaborating well with others at all levels of the organization, and bringing fun to the table
You will enjoy and excel in this role if you have most of these qualities:
- A self-directed leader with 10+ years of relevant experience and a minimum of 8 years of HR Business Partner experience partnering directly with tech leaders and engineering and product teams
- Expertise in building trusting relationships with senior leaders and coaching high-performing tech teams
- A proven track record in people business partnerships at various size tech companies, including working with distributed teams
- Eagerness to roll up your sleeves within an emerging, fast-paced industry and execute as a strategic, collaborative, and focused partner
- Persuasive, engaging, and clear communication style with a balanced combination of optimism and forward-looking pragmatism
- Proven ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
