Credit Karma is looking for recent college graduates (2020 or 2021) who have an interest in working closely with others in a People Operations function in a fast moving tech company that is scaling quickly. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you are passionate about helping people find their dream job where they can impact hundreds of millions of lives. You will join a team that supports the building and scaling of teams by working with hiring managers across the business. You will be a critical component in the building of the teams here at Credit Karma that are helping to bring financial progress to 120+ million people in the US, Canada and UK.

Based out of our Charlotte, North Carolina office, you will join a small cohort of other new graduates where, together, you will learn all of the skills to be a great technical recruiter. Our recruiting leadership team will guide you through an apprenticeship-type learning environment with personalized coaching and mentoring. There will be content delivered by senior talent on our team covering foundational concepts as well as self-guided lessons. Our team will ensure your success by creating a fun learning environment that is led by industry experts AND reinforced by shadowing programs, personalized reviews & feedback until you are ready to fly.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with our highly successful recruiting team to perfect your skills in sourcing, interviewing and submitting candidates
  • Meet and exceed recruiting metrics (offers, hires, candidate experience)
  • Strong focus on sourcing to create a passive funnel of talent
  • Build trusted and long-term relationships with hiring managers
  • Develop strategic job plans for their requisitions and coach them on hiring best practices
  • Provide a stellar candidate experience and develop strong relationships with candidates
  • Attend local networking events to promote the Credit Karma brand and source technical talent
  • Continuously improve our talent brand, recruiting processes, and candidate experience

Minimum basic requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous internship or co-op

Preferred qualifications:

  • Leadership role in a school/social club, sports team or volunteer organization
  • Strong career interest in a people-facing function
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong initiative and independent thinking
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship builder/networking extraordinaire
  • Highly organized and efficient
