Mental Health Counselor
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is currently recruiting for a Mental Health Counselor at our Dallas, TX customer contact center(s). This position is responsible for providing direct mental health counseling services to customer service employees. What you’ll do:
- Maintain a full caseload of internal Chewy team members
- Provide brief, individual counseling to team members across two customer contact sites
- Assists with leading roundtable discussions to gage employee sentiment and moral
- Work collaboratively with the HR and CS operations teams and develop employee engagement strategies
- Assess team members’ needs for additional mental health services
- Maintain case notes
- Handle benefits administration
What you’ll need:
- BA/BS required
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Mental Health Counseling
- Experience and knowledge of various treatment modalities: CBT, Psychodynamics, DBT, REBT, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with clients in a clinical setting
- Active Texas state license to practice and be in good standing with the state board
- Excellent written, verbal, public presentation /communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required
- Able to work effectively with a wide range of personnel
- Strong employee relations background
- Position may require travel
