Manager, Talent Experience
Our Opportunity:
Chewy has an exciting opportunity to join our pack as a Manager, Talent Experience at our Boston, MA or Dania Beach, FL location. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our recruiting coordination team. At Chewy, our Recruiting Coordinators are on the front lines of delivering a positive candidate experience to match the best-in-class customer service we’re known for. You will make sure that the team delivers a great experience that leaves every candidate feeling positive about Chewy, whether as a future employee or potential customer. You will be responsible for the growth and development of a team of 5-7 Recruiting Coordinators, while driving efficiency within the interview scheduling process to ensure a paw-some candidate experience. You will act as the first point of escalation for candidates and hiring teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and manage recruiting coordinators
- Support growth and development on the team through recurring manager check ins and performance reviews
- Act as a point of escalation for all recruiting coordination related issues and concerns
- Define ways to drive efficiency within the interview coordination processes
- Partner with recruiting leaders to evolve a streamlined interview process for interviews and provide recurring coordination status updates
- Manage recruiting coordination data and reporting within ServiceNow
- Utilize your strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills to effectively communicate with your team the expectations of their delivery of the coordination services
- Interact with and guide recruiters to answer all inquiries or process change requests using your coordination knowledge and expertise
- Lead ongoing continuous improvement activities for the team to enhance current processes and lead new initiatives
- Source, train, and onboard new coordinators for the team
- Identify moments that matter in the recruiting lifecycle via our survey tools and provide action plans to leaders on creating a memorable and positive experience
- Develop standards and Standard Operating Procedures, to support Talent Acquisition
- Maintain appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.
- Assist with Talent Acquisition special projects and performs other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
- Experience in managing a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Customer first obsession
- Minimum of 1 year in a recruiting coordinator role
- Customer service-focused, have a passion for process improvement, be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Experience in project management and in continuous improvement activities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; specifically, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Be a self-starter, have a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Superior communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Preferred experience in Workday, ServiceNow, Kronos, and Greenhouse
- Position may require travel
