As the Manager, HR Technology you'll act as the technical owner of SuccessFactors functional modules and be responsible for the management of the HR Technology team and maintenance of SuccessFactors capabilities. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director, HR Technology; and will work closely with our Information Technology team. As the technical point-of-contact for functional stakeholders, the incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert and provide support in the areas of day-to-day transactions, continuous improvement, HR technical design and system configurations to support various business requests.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Manage, coach and develop the skills of the HR Technology Analysts to ensure all projects and initiatives are communicated and managed to meet the business objectives
  • Assist HR Tech team members with prioritization of project, enhancement and production support workload
  • Support and/or assign HR Tech resources to HR PMO pipeline projects requiring system configuration
  • Provide direction to HR Technology contingent worker resource(s)
  • Drive continuous improvements to processes, service delivery, and technology
  • Manage bug/issue resolution processes: root cause analysis, impact analysis and drive solution design; in addition to implementing, testing and deploying solutions.
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills, using prototyping. Present and defend technical solutions.
  • Assess, strategize and manage SuccessFactors releases and future functionality in partnership with stakeholders, ensuring new system functionality is introduced and comprehensively documented


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Five (5) years of experience managing a team with human capital management
    • Experience with implementation and support of multiple SuccessFactors modules (EC, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance/Goals)
    • Strong analytical skills including problem-solving, attention to detail, and clear communication of complex results
    • Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate relationships at all levels - particularly with customers/users and stakeholders
    • Integrity and maintain the confidential nature of the information by protecting the privacy of our employees and their records


It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Understanding and is familiar with the most widely known and emerging HR tools, technologies and social applications
  • Prior functional HR experience
