WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Tealium is seeking a motivated, high performing HR Business partner - APJ to join our growing team! As an HR Manager and Business Partner you will be partnering with key leaders across the region to drive the people strategy locally, and in partnership with the US and EMEA HR and business leaders. As an APJ HR Leader you will be an expert in (or know how to find the right answers around) local legislation regarding performance management, compensation and benefit expectations, to help Team Tealium remain a trusted partner both internally and externally across the region. Your focus will be on driving and implementing talent and employee programs to support the success of this high-growth company, particularly, employee engagement and culture programs; ensuring policies are compliant, maintained and effectively communicated; support effective employee development management; recruiting and partnering with recruiters/agencies to ensure effective recruiting; and, providing guidance on compensation matters for effective compensation decision-making. In addition, you will provide advice and support on other HR related matters such as training, HR metrics/reporting, career progression, etc. This position reports to the VP, HR and has no direct reports at this time.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Be a culture champion! Provide leadership and organizational support to foster a productive culture
  • Coach and mentor managers with actions oriented toward improving employee engagement
  • Facilitate actions and follow-through as a result of the employee engagement survey and PULSE surveys
  • Partner with the broader HR team to ensure positive onboarding and offboarding for APJ employees, in accord with local practices
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations matters finding appropriate solutions and in accordance with local and country specific employment regulations
  • Participate in compensation discussions with a strong foundation in compensation (base and incentive pay) to support management decision-making
  • Advise on benefit solutions as new benefits are considered within the region, based on customary benefit practices and expectations
  • Emphasize employee reward and recognition programs
  • Help to build, maintain and communicate changes in regional policies and procedures and ensure proper compliance is followed in accord with country specific laws and regulations
  • Monitor and implement employee development and performance programs
  • Support and implement Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs
  • Partner with the Tealium L&D team to ensure new hire onboarding is relevant and effective
  • Champion #TealFun and #KeepinitTeal and engagement programs Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM

  • Demonstrated Human Resources knowledge in all Generalist areas; especially knowledge in country specific labor and performance management laws and regulations
  • Ability to create workflow, processes and policies for the region that work for each country where Tealium workforce residesPossess the self-confidence to thrive in a dynamic, diverse and growing global organization Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas effectively in individual and group settings
  • Ability to collaborate and align with many strong leaders
  • Ability to work effectively with teams and with Team Tealium members at all levels
  • Initiate action with teams or self-directed to accomplish business and HR objectives
  • And, possess demonstrated experience in knowing how to work hard while having a lot of laughs and fun too!

Strongly Desired Skills

  • HR Certification (i.e. CIPD Qualified, HRi, PHRi, GPHR, SHRM, etc.) or equivalent 
  •  Previous experience in a high-growth, global technology company 
  • Experience with country laws and working expectations in countries across APJ, for example: Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and New Zealand
  • Understanding of DiSC
  • Passion for Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity - with a focus on Belonging
