About the job
The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for a Manager of Hiring and Onboarding to join us. In this role, your primary responsibility will be designing and deploying the end-to-end processes to standardize talent acquisition support management by establishing and implementing new service delivery processes and by monitoring and improving existing processes. You will oversee the implementation and delivery of hiring operations services including employment offers and contracts and own the overall new hire and manager onboarding experience. In addition to the service delivery, you will ensure that processes are efficient, compliant, and accessible. As a Manager, you will also supervise a team of Onboarding Specialists around the globe. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Be accountable for delivering a best in class onboarding experience to new hires across the globe
  • Be accountable for service process documentation, including knowledge for self-service, workflows, and job guidelines as needed
  • Ensure timely and compliant delivery of onboarding processes, acting as escalation point of contact as needed
  • Be the delivery expert and voice of the customer to lead process improvement and consistent experience
  • Partner with program and cross-functional partners to manage ongoing change and evolution to the onboarding experience
  • Partner with HR Systems to best utilize technology to facilitate and enhance the onboarding experience
  • Hire, develop, and retain a diverse team, build associate capabilities

  • Effective communication skills; demonstrated effective communication skills in listening and response,
  • Experience working cross functionally to influence
  • Ability to analyze processes and data and identify opportunities to innovate and evolve
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Experience within a shared services environment, managing global operations at scale is a plus
