Job summary
The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for a Manager of Hiring and Onboarding Operations to join us. In this role, your primary responsibility will be designing and deploying the end-to-end processes to standardize talent acquisition support management by establishing and implementing new service delivery processes and by monitoring and improving existing processes. You will oversee the implementation and delivery of hiring operations services including interview scheduling and employment offers and contracts and own the overall candidate and manager onboarding experience. In addition to the service delivery, you will ensure that processes are efficient, compliant, and accessible. As a Manager, you will also supervise a team of associates involved in the hiring operations delivery process.
Primary job responsibilities

  • Work with Talent Acquisition, Talent Programs, HR Technology and Systems, Global Employment and Mobility, Global People Infrastructure and other global process teams and owners to establish, improve, implement, monitor, and document hiring processes
  • Manage daily activities of the shared services team; ensure that services meet internal and external customer requirements by providing direction, guidance, support, and problem resolution
  • Develop and create scalable processes to support regional and specific hiring initiatives
  • Measure the effectiveness of services provided by shared services in order to meet the needs of internal and external customers and achieve long-term customer satisfaction
  • Track functional metrics, communicate results to HR partners, and report on trends
  • Oversee communication and engagement when implementing new e-services and provide information about shared services during the transition


Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of recruiting or shared services experience in a high volume business environment
  • 2+ years of broad people management experience
  • Ability to establish cross-functional relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Solid understanding of company HR policies and procedures, including regulatory compliance requirements
  • Willingness to work in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
